Privacy Policy for Twisted Pipes

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the game “Twisted Pipes”, developed by Witty Puzzles. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and inform you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data when you use our game.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network & Liftoff Monetize)

“Twisted Pipes” uses the following advertising services to display advertisements within the game:

• Google AdMob – a service provided byGoogle LLC
• Unity Ads – a service provided byUnity Technologies
• Meta Audience Network – a service provided byMeta Platforms, Inc.
• Liftoff Monetize – a service provided byLiftoff Mobile, Inc.

Depending on your consent, these services may collect and process the following information:

• Unique device identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID or IDFA)
• IP address (in shortened or anonymized form)
• Interaction with advertisements
• Device and app-related information

If you do not consent to personalized advertising,non-personalized ads will still be displayed.

You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via your device settings or within the app.

2A. In-App Purchase (Remove Ads)

“Twisted Pipes” offers a one-time in-app purchase (“Remove Ads”) that disables the interstitial advertisements between games. Rewarded video ads for optional bonuses remain available.

The purchase is processed exclusively by the store of your platform:

• Google Play Billing (Android) – provided byGoogle LLC
• App Store / StoreKit (iOS) – provided byApple Inc.

Payment data (e.g. credit card, PayPal, or other payment methods) is entered and processed only by Google or Apple. We donot receive or store your payment data, name, or billing address.

The game only receives the information needed to unlock the purchase: the product, the purchase status, and the localized price for display. On Android, the game checks your purchases with Google Play at startup, so that the purchase is restored on a new device and removed again after a refund. On iOS, you can restore your purchase at any time via the“Restore Purchases” button in the settings of the app. The unlocked status is stored locally on your device.

Please note that Google and Apple process your data as independent controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2B. Game Services and Cloud Save (Google Play Games, Game Center, iCloud)

“Twisted Pipes” uses the game services of your platform for achievements, leaderboards, and for saving your game progress in the cloud:

• Google Play Games Services (Android) – achievements, leaderboards, and Saved Games, provided byGoogle LLC
• Apple Game Center (iOS) – achievements and leaderboards, provided by Apple Inc.
• iCloud (iOS) – saving your game progress, provided by Apple Inc.

These services process the following data:

• Your game progress: best results per map, the state of the map selection, unlocked content, and the time of a progress reset
• Achievements and leaderboard scores, shown together with your public player name or profile of the platform account

The game progress is stored on your device and is synchronized with the cloud of your platform account when you are signed in to Google Play Games or iCloud. This lets you continue on a new or additional device. If the progress on your devices differs, the best results are merged. We do not receive the cloud data ourselves; it is stored and processed by Google or Apple, who act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

Control:
You can sign out of Google Play Games or turn off iCloud for the game in your device settings; the game then keeps working with the local progress only. In the settings of the game, Reset game progress deletes the progress on this device, in the cloud, and on your other devices. 3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

“Twisted Pipes” uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to analyze how the game is used and to improve stability, performance, and gameplay experience.

Firebase Analytics may collect the following data:

• In-game events (e.g. level completion, feature usage)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Device and app information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version)
• Anonymous usage statistics
• A random Support ID generated by the game and shown in its settings, used as a pseudonymous user ID so that you can request the deletion of your analytics data

Firebase Analytics does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

Analytics Control:
Users can disable the collection of analytics data at any time in thesettings of the app. If analytics collection is disabled, no new analytics data will be collected from that point onward.

3A. Feedback and Problem Reports

You can send us feedback or report a problem from within the game. This is voluntary and only happens when you submit the form. The following data is transmitted to our own server and forwarded to our support mailbox:

• Your message and the topics you selected
• Your email address, if you enter it (optional, only used to reply to you)
• The map you were playing (shape, size, level), if you open the form from a game
• Technical information: app version, operating system and version, device model, and the language of your device

We use this data only to answer your message, to fix problems, and to improve the game. We do not pass it on to third parties. We delete it on request (seehttps://wittypuzzles.com/twistedpipes/delete-data) or when it is no longer needed to process your message.

4. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Personal data is processed on the following legal bases:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), particularly for analytics and personalized advertising
• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), for processing and restoring the in-app purchase, for saving your game progress in the cloud, and for answering your feedback
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to ensure stability, security, and improvement of the game

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5. Data Storage and Processing Location

Data collected via Firebase Analytics is processed on servers operated by Google LLC.

This may include processing on servers locatedoutside the European Union, particularly in the United States.

Google uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and additional safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the GDPR.

Feedback and problem reports (see section 3A) are stored on our own server, which is located within the European Union.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Restrict or object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

Analytics Deactivation:
You can disable analytics data collection at any time via thesettings of the app. This does not affect the functionality of the game.

6A. Data Retention and Automatic Deletion

Analytics data collected via Firebase Analytics is stored only for a limited period and is automatically deleted after 60 days.

This automatic deletion applies independently of any manual reset, deactivation, or withdrawal of consent by the user.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time in order to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes.

Any updates will be published within the app or on the relevant platform.
