Privacy Policy for Rotile

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the game “Rotile”, developed by Witty Puzzles. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and inform you about the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing of personal data when you use our game.

“Rotile” has no user accounts. Your game progress, your hints, and your settings are stored only locally on your device.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network & Liftoff Monetize)

“Rotile” uses the following advertising services to display advertisements within the game: full-screen ads between levels and optional reward videos that give you an additional hint.

• Google AdMob – a service provided byGoogle LLC
• Unity Ads – a service provided byUnity Technologies
• Meta Audience Network – a service provided byMeta Platforms, Inc.
• Liftoff Monetize – a service provided byLiftoff Mobile, Inc.

Google AdMob selects which of these services delivers an ad (mediation). Before ads are shown, the game asks for your consent where this is required by law (e.g. in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). Depending on your consent, these services may collect and process the following information:

• Unique device identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID or IDFA)
• IP address (in shortened or anonymized form)
• Interaction with advertisements
• Device and app-related information

If you do not consent to personalized advertising,non-personalized ads will still be displayed.

Where consent is required, you can change or withdraw it at any time via Privacy settings in the settings of the app. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

2A. In-App Purchases (Remove Ads, Hint Packs)

“Rotile” offers the following in-app purchases:

• “Remove Ads” – a one-time purchase that disables the ads between levels. Optional reward videos remain available.
• Hint packs – packs with additional hints, which are used up when you use the hints.

The purchases are processed exclusively by the store of your platform:

• Google Play Billing (Android) – provided byGoogle LLC
• App Store / StoreKit (iOS) – provided byApple Inc.

Payment data (e.g. credit card, PayPal, or other payment methods) is entered and processed only by Google or Apple. We donot receive or store your payment data, name, or billing address.

The game only receives the information needed to unlock the purchase: the product, the purchase status, and the localized price for display. On Android, the game checks your purchases with Google Play at startup, so that “Remove Ads” is restored on a new device. On both platforms, you can restore “Remove Ads” at any time via the“Restore Purchases” button in the settings of the app. The unlocked status and your hints are stored locally on your device.

Please note that Google and Apple process your data as independent controllers in accordance with their own privacy policies.

3. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

“Rotile” uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to analyze how the game is used and to improve stability, performance, and gameplay experience.

Firebase Analytics may collect the following data:

• In-game events (e.g. level completion, use of hints)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address)
• Device and app information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version)
• Anonymous usage statistics
• A random Support ID generated by the game and shown in its settings, used as a pseudonymous user ID so that you can request the deletion of your analytics data

Firebase Analytics does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

Analytics Control:
Analytics data is only collected if you have given your consent where it is required. Users can disable the collection of analytics data at any time in the settings of the app. If analytics collection is disabled, no new analytics data will be collected from that point onward. Reset analytics data deletes the analytics data on your device and creates a new Support ID.

4. Legal Basis for Data Processing

Personal data is processed on the following legal bases:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), particularly for analytics and personalized advertising
• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), for processing and restoring in-app purchases
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), to ensure stability, security, and improvement of the game

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

5. Data Storage and Processing Location

Data collected via Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics is processed on servers operated by Google LLC. Data collected by the other advertising services listed in section 2 is processed on servers operated by the respective provider.

This may include processing on servers locatedoutside the European Union, particularly in the United States.

These providers use EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or comparable safeguards to ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Restrict or object to processing
• Withdraw consent at any time

Analytics Deactivation:
You can disable analytics data collection at any time via thesettings of the app. This does not affect the functionality of the game.

6A. Data Retention and Automatic Deletion

Analytics data collected via Firebase Analytics is stored only for a limited period and is automatically deleted after 60 days.

This automatic deletion applies independently of any manual reset, deactivation, or withdrawal of consent by the user.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time in order to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes.

Any updates will be published within the app or on the relevant platform.
